TrackJewelry guides

Getting started

TrackJewelry is a jewelry operations workspace. Every piece of data lives inside an organization — your company or studio — and no two organizations can ever see each other's data.

Create your account

  1. Go to the sign-up page and choose Vendor (you run or work in a jewelry business) or Receiver (you only receive transfers and view receipts).
  2. Check your email for a confirmation link, then sign in.

Create or join an organization

After signing in you'll be asked to either:

  • Create an organization — type your business name. Names are globally unique: if another business already uses the name, you'll be asked to pick another.
  • Join an organization — enter the secret join key from an owner or admin. Keys rotate automatically every few minutes for security.

You can belong to more than one organization. Switch between them anytime from the Organizations page (top-right button Add organization).

The Home page opens only after you choose an organization (press Use on the Organizations page).

After signing in you'll first choose: Receive a transfer (sign and confirm items an organization sent to your email) or Sign into an organization (pick, create or join one, then go to Home).

Roles

Role What they can do
Owner Everything — the person who created the organization. The owner role can't be removed.
Admin Manage settings, members, attributes, and all data.
Member (viewer) Work with items, lots, documents, and daily operations — but not settings or member management.

Admins assign these roles on the Settings page.

Receivers

Receivers are external, lightweight accounts. They never join an organization, never see your inventory, and are taken straight to their Receipts page where they can view receipts of transfers sent to their email.

What's next

  • Set up your Attributes first — they shape your Items, Lots, and the BYO Storefront designer.
  • Explore the branches from the Home page: Quality Control, Inventory, Items, Sales, and more.

In-app help and tours

  • The first time you open each page, a short tour highlights the main controls. Use Next, Back, or Skip.
  • At any time, press ? Help (bottom-right) to see that page's instructions, restart the tour, or open the full guide here.
  • Tours remember that you've seen them on this device.
