Receivers — external accounts

A Receiver is a lightweight, external account for someone who receives jewelry — a client, a store, a colleague — and should never see your internal data.

What a Receiver can do

  • See receipts of transfers sent to their email — past and future.
  • Show their personal transfer QR code so senders don't need to type their email.

Joining or creating an organization later

Receivers land on Receive transfers by default, but nothing is locked. Use Join or create an organization on that page to join with an org key or start your own.

Privacy

  • See any of your organization's data — organization isolation applies absolutely.

Setting one up

Receivers sign themselves up: on the sign-up page, they choose Receiver instead of Vendor. They're taken straight to their Receipts page after signing in.

In a transfer

When you start a transfer to a receiver's email address, they take part in the hand-off — matching the rotating code and signing — and end up with a verifiable receipt.

Profile and passing items on

  • Open Your profile from Receive transfers to update your phone number (for text alerts) and email. Email changes are confirmed from both inboxes.
  • Open a completed receipt to transfer those items to someone else. Sales need no extra code; memos need the original vendor's release code and can also be returned to the vendor.
